Because Team Digital will be closed over the Xmas break we won’t be able to process hire returns until Monday the 4th January. This means that for the cost of three days hire, customers can have the use of our photographic hire equipment for a further seven days absolutely free of charge. This presents a great opportunity for photographers wanting to capture some special images over the festive season or use the time to become more proficient with different lenses or perhaps studio flash. You will need to book early though as we expect strong for photographic hire over the coming two weeks.

First bit of good news is that Team Digital now have the Nikon D3s in stock. We are told that the Nikon D3s not only has video, but also has a number improvement on the previous Nikon D3. Which could make this camera a class leader. Time will tell. We are going to have some reviews on the D3s within the next few weeks stay tuned. Also will be receiving the new Nikon 70-200 F2.8 VRII which promises to set a new standard in lens quality.
And best of all Nikon have reduced the prices on a number of lenses and cameras.

On the 23rd September about 75 photographers crammed into the Team Digital training room to enjoy another of our Digital Village presentations supported on this occasion by the team from Nikon Australia. Renowned Melbourne photographer Gavin Blue projected a range of his high class images before going on to discuss various flash techniques and in particular some of the benefits of using Nikon flash systems. During the day Team Digital, Nikon and Gavin Blue ran a workshop at Centre TAFE that was attended by some 40 students. Over the two events Gavin was able the show how to make the most of the amazing remote Nikon flash system.
Gavin Blue is an accomplished presenter and a world class photographer and confirmation of the latter can be obtained by visiting his website at www.gavinblue.com.au. We are looking at ways of getting Gavin back to do some more seminars stay tuned.
